How important is the burden resistor value? I found conflicting datasheets for this YHDC current transformer, with one saying 1:2000 turns and the other 1:1800.

Hi kcender! I moved your question to a new topic so that we can start fresh rather than being a part of the other topic...
That is weird that there does seem to be some conflicting info on that CT... From what I can tell it ought to be 1:2000 not 1:1800 for the SCT013-100. The burden resistor value is quite important as it determines the output voltage from the CT that you would measure from an Arduino.
Unless that is a very weird version of that CT, I would assume that something is off about the 1:1800 datasheet. Even the rated output lines up with a 1:2000 turn ratio. 0.05A (50mA) * 2000 = 100A which is what that datasheet specs out.
