Influxdb and Grafana

I would like to see you do a video on a project using Influxdb and Grafana.
Example: A temperature /humidity logger with DTH22/11. running on Battery. Maybe incorporating ESP8266 deep sleep.
Multiple sensor boards all graphing in Grafana around the house and property.  Green House?
Thanks
Kevin

Re: Influxdb and Grafana

Thats not a bad idea!

Gonna have to dig deep and learn how to interface with those but it shouldn't be too hard.

Re: Influxdb and Grafana

Check out the excellent youtube tutorials by YouTuber "BurnsHA".  he goes through all the steps to integrate Home assistant with InfluxDB and Grafana.  Pretty neat stuff.

Re: Influxdb and Grafana

I am very new to Arduino and Linux. I am finding the code my biggest challenge.
Your videos are a great help.
I finally after weeks of playing got my temperature logger working and graphing in Grafana.
The Influx and Grafanna was the hardest. I am using ESP-01, DTH22
Sketch I use is a web server so sends data to a web page.
I run a script on my Linux machine to scrape the data and post to influxdb.
I would love to find a sketch that post data direct from ESP 8266 to influxdb.
Next I plan to build second logger with dallas 18b20 and would love to play with deep sleep.
I see people using attiny85 interrupt to wake. That sounds cool. I only have ESP-01's on hand so looks like i need to get some ESP-12 ordered. I don't think I can solder that fine on the ESP-01.

Thanks
Kevin
